2 Corinthians 3:5 – “Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,”
Paul writes to the Corinthian church and in chapter three begins to speak on confidence in God. He makes it key to the believers that the sufficiency that a believer has is not from theirselves but it is found in Christ. Paul uses the image of the glory of Moses coming with the law and says how much more glorious will the ministry of the Spirit be.
Do I allow my confidence to be found in Christ our in myself? The truth of the gospel is that my sufficiency is found in Christ. Today, I desire to share the truth that Jesus is sufficient and we can be found in Him.
God, thank You for your work in me through the gospel. Thank You Spirit for Your ministry and help me to fully live out your call in my life.
